Cinnamon Apples with real Ceylon Cinnamon
Cinnamon Apples: Add the sugar into a very hot pan, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Allow to melt well. Now add the apples and caramalize them until soft. I like having a few chunks of caramel in the apples as it adds a touch of crunch to the whole thing. So, if you have a few clumps of caramel don't worry.
Serve with the warm cinnamon apples and a drizzle of maple syrup or honey.
Ingredients:
- 2 Pink Lady apples - chopped in bite sized pieces
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Ceylon Cinnamon
- extract from 1 Vanilla stick
- 100g sugar
